An entire 500 acre private estate in the exclusive Hambleden Valley with, at its centre, a hamlet of six unique and exquisitely presented properties offering more than 16* stunning bedrooms, and dining for up to 32 guests in the legendary “Great Barn”.

Rent the entire estate by the night, it will be your private estate when you stay here. Each of the six properties is self-contained, with its own kitchen, dining and reception rooms, so your guests can have time to themselves and come together whenever they want.

This exceptional and magical English estate, consisting of secluded valleys, landscaped grounds, parkland and ancient woodland, is in the centre of the Chiltern Hills. It feels secret and remote yet it is within one hour of Central London.

Accommodation

Each of the six houses and the Victory Barn are, in short, spectacular. The Shoot Lodge and Burrow Farmhouse* are the two principal properties, each having six bedrooms. There are three cottages (The Chicken House, Barley Cottage and Keepers Cottage**) each with two bedrooms. Finally there is “Top of the World”, a one bedroom shepherds hut with glorious views over the estate and beyond. (* Available from Feb 2026 ** Available from April 2026)

Burrow Farmhouse

Burrow Farmhouse is an exceptional grade II listed Manor House dating back to the 15th Century with six en-suite bedrooms and five luxurious living spaces. (Available from February 2026)

The Shoot Lodge

The Shoot Lodge is a beautiful grade II listed Lodge dating back to the 15th Century with six stunning bedrooms and four luxurious living spaces.

The Chicken House

The Chicken House is a charming 16th century grade II listed cottage adjoining the Great Barn with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, open plan living and kitchen space, and a beautiful walled garden.

Barley
Cottage

Barley Cottage is the most accessible property on the Estate set across one level with open plan kitchen, dining room and snug. Positioned with beautiful views over rolling fields.

Keepers Cottage

Keepers Cottage is a grade II listed 16th Century House with two stunning bedrooms and cosy living spaces. (Available from April 2026)

Top of the
World

Perched at the top of a wildflower meadow with spectacular views over the Chiltern Hills sits an enchanting shepherd’s hut. Blending luxury with cosy comfort, Top of the World comes complete with elegant roll top bath, underfloor heating, wood-burning stove and inviting sunken hot tub.
